Birthday Fat Quarter Exchange

I'll take signups through December 15th. The groups will be set up and a list will be sent to each swapper by December 30. I'm asking that you have your FQ packets sent to me by January 20, so that we can start off with the February birthdays.

Once the groups are set, each person in the group will purchase their entire quota of FQ's, package them with birthday cards (if you choose to send a card) AND PUT EACH FQ IN A ZIPLOC/BAGGIE WITH YOUR NAME AND THE RECIPIENTS NAME ON IT. You will must also include a self addressed tyvek envelope for me to return your FQ's in. Each tyvek envelope MUST have STAMPS ONLY postage attached matching the amount of postage it costs you to send your package to me. All of the FQ's are then sent to me, Tamra in Benton City, before the swap begins. During your birthday month, I will send you 1 package containing the FQ's and cards sent for you by the other swappers. Until sign up's are complete I cannot tell you how many FQ's you will need to purchase. I'll try to keep the groups to a reasonable size so that the cost is not prohibitive for anyone.

For new members: the birthday FQ swap gives you a great packet of FQ's during your birthday month. Just send in FQ's for the other participants to the swap hostess, and during your birthday month you'll get a fat squishy filled with FQ's just for you! Let's Review the Rules Please:

  1. Put EACH FQ in a separate baggie with your name and the recipients name on or in it. I, unfortunately, don't have the time to figure out an unmarked stack.
  2. You MUST include a return Tyvek envelope with the EXACT postage you needed to send them in. STAMPS ONLY, NO Metered strips.
  3. Send in 100% cotton high quality fabric from your LQS; just like you would like to get. If it looks inferior to what others are sending you or is not the 18"x 22" FQ size, I'll return it to you unswapped. Also, make sure you check your FQ if it's coming out of your stash to make sure it is whole and intact and there are no pieces missing.
